I went to bed last night with the world on mind. These last couple of days I realized I had a lot of things to think about regarding my future and school. Even though I made my choice of school, everything wasn’t quite set in stone. After worrying for so long, I realized that worrying gets you nowhere. I remember the wise words of my grandmother, “church-going” lady, who said “Son you have to let go and let God.” I’m not exactly the church- goer, but that doesn’t mean I don’t believe in God. I don’t go to church because I was not forced to go growing up; which I preferred. When I awoke the following morning, I received great news. Accordingly, the first person I thanked was God. When times get tough and you have a lot on your plate, it’s okay to give some to God. He will gladly take on some of the load, church- goer or not.
